Build a business that works for
your life.
Build a business that supports the lifestyle you want to live and the people you want to help.
Building your own business is exciting.
It can also be full of conflicting advice, endless to-do lists, and decisions that feel bigger than they need to be.
You probably don't need another productivity hack or marketing trend.
You need practical business education, thoughtful questions, and a place to sort through your ideas with someone who's been there.
Whether you're starting from scratch or growing something that's already working, we'll focus on building a business that fits your goals, your values, and your actual life.
I can help with…
Where do I even start? Turn too many ideas into a clear next step.
How do I find clients? Build relationships instead of chasing algorithms.
How do I stay organized? Create systems that fit real life.
How do I actually make money? Understand your numbers and make thoughtful decisions.
How do I market without feeling gross? Sell with confidence and integrity.
How do I grow without burning out? Build something that's sustainable.
Build a business that supports your life, not one you need a vacation from.
Every entrepreneur has different goals, responsibilities, strengths, capacity, and reasons for starting a business. That's why I don't believe in rigid business blueprints.
A strategy that works for a full-time consultant with no dependents might be impossible for a parent, a tradesperson, or someone balancing a day job. A marketing plan that feels energizing to one person might leave someone else overwhelmed and avoiding their business altogether.
The most successful businesses aren't built by following someone else's formula. They're built by understanding the principles behind good business decisions and adapting them to real life.
So I'll bring structure, practical education, thoughtful questions, and accountability.
You'll bring your expertise, your values, and your understanding of the life you're trying to build. Together, we'll sort through the options and create a business that is both profitable and sustainable.
Not because there's one right way to do business.
But because the best business is the one you'll actually keep showing up for.
There isn't one right way to build a business.

What clients often share
Hi, I’m Chelsey
I believe people do their best work when they have the opportunity to build lives that light them up.
My own path into entrepreneurship started after having my first baby. I built my first business, grew it for years, and sold it in 2019.
Since then, I’ve spent my career helping other entrepreneurs build businesses of their own. I’ve coached hundreds of business owners, taught entrepreneurship programs, facilitated workshops, supported community organizations, and reviewed grant applications and business plans.
Along the way, I’ve noticed the same thing again and again:
There is no single “right” way to build a business.
The entrepreneurs I work with are often creative, thoughtful people navigating real lives — caregiving, burnout, changing careers, neurodivergence, big ideas, and competing responsibilities.
They don’t need another rigid blueprint.
They need practical education, thoughtful questions, supportive structure, and space to make decisions that fit their own goals, values, capacity, and lives.
That belief is what led me to create The Business Guidebook — the framework behind my coaching, workshops, community programs, and free resources.
Whether we work together one-on-one, meet in a classroom, or you find my work online, my hope is the same:
To help you build a business that supports the life you want to create.
Questions I hear every week
How do I find clients without spending all day on social media?
Do I really need to post every day?
How do I find clients without feeling pushy?
What should I charge?
What if I raise my prices and no one books?
How do I know if my business idea is viable?
How do I know what to focus on first?
How do I stay consistent when life keeps changing?
Can I build a business without burning myself out?
Entrepreneurship doesn't have to mean constant stress, endless hustle, or sacrificing the people and hobbies you love. Together we'll build practical systems, sustainable marketing, and a business that grows without requiring you to be available 24/7.
