Whether you're joining a community program, workshop or one of my own small-group programs, every session is designed and facilitated by me using the same collaborative, practical, education-first approach. Building a Business with ADHD
Open For Registration: January–March 2027 | Education & Coaching | Virtual
I'm a late-diagnosed ADHDer who has spent 13+ years self-employed, built and sold a service business, coached hundreds of entrepreneurs, and created business education programs for community organizations across Ontario. Over the years, I've noticed the same pattern. Most business advice assumes everyone works the same way. Post every day. Build a funnel. Be everywhere. Always be selling. For many entrepreneurs with ADHD, that advice creates more overwhelm than momentum.
So I created Building a Business with ADHD.
Built on the same practical educational framework that shapes my workshops and courses, this program combines live education, coaching, and experimentation to help you build a business that works with your values and the life you want to live.
Together we'll explore:
✓ Finding clients who genuinely value your work
✓ Building a simple marketing approach that feels natural
✓ Creating momentum without relying on pressure or perfection
✓ Deciding what deserves your attention (and what doesn't)
✓ Building a business that fits the life you want to live and pays you fairly

Is this for you?
✓ You're experienced in the work you want to build a business around—or you're already working with paying clients.
✓ You know you're good at what you do, but the business side often feels harder than the work itself.
✓ You've spent hours researching marketing, websites, pricing, or systems and still aren't sure what deserves your attention.
✓ You're looking for practical business education, thoughtful conversation, and space to experiment instead of one-size-fits-all advice.
✓ You want to build a business that allows you to do the work that brings you joy, supports your life, and grows in a way that feels sustainable.
Program FAQs
Still have questions?
That's completely normal. Here are a few of the things people often ask before joining a program or booking a free coffee chat.
-
Nope.
This program was designed with ADHD entrepreneurs in mind, and many participants identify that way, but there's no diagnosis required and no application process to prove you belong here.
If you're looking for practical business education, thoughtful conversation, and a more sustainable way to build your business, you're welcome.
-
That's a fantastic and common question.
The goal of this program isn't to leave you with a longer to-do list. It's to help you build more clarity, confidence, and practical business knowledge so you can make decisions that support both your business and the way you want to show up in the world.
Between sessions, you'll find optional reflection prompts and small experiments designed to help you apply what we're discussing to your own business. They're invitations, not assignments.
There are no grades, no gold stars, and no expectation that everyone will participate in the same way.
You are the expert in your own business. My role is to create a supportive space where you can explore what's already working, identify what you'd like to change, and experiment with practical strategies that feel sustainable for you.
Many participants leave with fewer competing priorities, a clearer sense of direction, and permission to stop trying to do everything at once.
-
No.
You'll receive a section of The Business Guidebook: ADHD Edition before each live session, and we'll work through the ideas together as a group.
There's no homework to complete before class and no expectation that you'll arrive with a polished business plan or all the answers.
Show up with curiosity, your own experience, and a willingness to experiment. That's enough.
The program is designed to meet you where you are, whether you've spent months researching business strategies or you're simply trying to figure out what deserves your attention next.
-
You don't need years in business, but you should already know the work you want to do.
Some people join with paying clients. Others are launching after years of experience as therapists, designers, tradespeople, consultants, educators, or other professionals.
If you're still trying to decide what business to start, you'll probably get more value from a beginner business planning program first.
-
Life happens.
To create a space where people feel comfortable asking questions and sharing real experiences, sessions aren't recorded.
You'll still have your workbook, your coaching sessions, and everything we build throughout the program to support you. If you miss a week, you're welcome to join us again the following session without feeling like you've fallen behind.
-
That's completely okay.
You don't need a perfect business plan or a list of goals before you join. Most people arrive with a mix of ideas, questions, and challenges that feel connected but hard to untangle.
We'll create space to get clear on where you are, where you'd like to go, and what support will help you get there.
There isn't a right way to participate. You don't have to be the most prepared person in the room to get a lot from the experience.
-
Marketing and sales are a big part of the conversation because they're how the right people find you and decide to work with you.
But this isn't a program about becoming an influencer or convincing you to spend your life online.
Many people build highly successful businesses without a large social media following or a constant online presence. The goal is to identify where and how you show up best, create meaningful connections, and help people move from interested to becoming clients.
Together we'll explore what effective marketing and ethical sales look like for entrepreneurs with ADHD, including how to build visibility, relationships, and trust without compromising your values or relying on strategies that create anxiety, perfectionism, or burnout.
For some people that might include social media. For others it might look like networking, workshops, referrals, community partnerships, speaking opportunities, or simply getting better at talking about the work they already do.
The goal isn't to copy someone else's marketing plan. It's to understand the principles behind effective marketing and sales so you can build a business that feels sustainable, authentic, and profitable.
Many participants discover they've spent years trying to market themselves like someone else, when their greatest strength is learning how to show up as themselves.
Why choose a live program?
Conversation over content
Get unstuck in real time instead of adding another course to your watch list.
Small groups
Bring your questions and actually have time to explore them.
Practical education
Leave knowing exactly what you'll try next.
Teaching & Community Programs
Business Planning Course
October–December 2026 | Program & Coaching | Sarnia-Lambton, Ontario
Before becoming a business coach and educator, I received a Starter Company Plus grant for my first small business, later grew and sold that business, and have served on the local Starter Company Plus grant review panel since 2019.
That experience taught me something I still see today: entrepreneurs don't need another business plan template—they need practical business education, space to ask questions, and the confidence to make informed decisions.
So I created The Business Planning Guidebook.
Originally developed for this course, the guidebook continues to evolve alongside my teaching and coaching. Every cohort, workshop, and conversation helps shape new activities, examples, and ways of thinking about entrepreneurship. Today, it forms the foundation of many of the workshops, community programs, and online courses I facilitate.
Through interactive activities, discussions, and real-world examples, participants build a stronger understanding of business planning, customer research, marketing, pricing, financial planning, and sustainable growth.
For entrepreneurs interested in applying for the Government of Ontario's Starter Company Plus program, the course also provides a strong foundation for preparing a grant application.

Time: 6:00pm - 7:30pm EST

Summer Company
June to August 2026 | Workshops & Coaching | Sarnia-Lambton, Ontario
Since 2024, I've partnered with the Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership (SLEP) to design and facilitate interactive business workshops for Summer Company participants and provide one-to-one coaching throughout the summer.
The workshops are built around practical entrepreneurship. Participants explore what they want to get out of the summer and develop the skills, confidence, and tools to move toward those goals. Along the way, we cover business planning, marketing, branding, pricing, sales, customer experience, and plenty of real-world problem solving.
Who it's for: Ontario students (ages 15–29) returning to school in the fall
When: June–August (annually)
Format: Custom-designed interactive workshops + individual coaching
Investment: Fully funded through the Government of Ontario. Participants receive business education, one-to-one coaching, and a $3,000 grant to launch and operate a summer business.
Interested? Summer Company is delivered through local Small Business Enterprise Centres and business centres across Ontario. Contact your local centre to learn about eligibility and application dates.
Not Sure Which Option Is Right for You?
You don't have to figure it out on your own.
Whether you're deciding between a live program and one-on-one coaching, wondering if you're "ready," or simply trying to make sense of your next step, I'm happy to talk it through with you.
Book a free 45-minute coffee chat and we'll explore where you are, what you're hoping to build, and which type of support is likely to be the best fit.
There's no application process, no sales script, and no pressure to sign up for anything.
Just a conversation with someone who has spent years teaching and coaching entrepreneurs through the messy middle of building a business.
People often book because...
• They're interested in a program but aren't sure which one fits their goals.
• They're deciding between a live group and one-on-one coaching.
• They have questions about the format, commitment, or whether they'll fit in.
• They have too many ideas and want help choosing where to start.
• They want to build a business that fits their actual life, not someone else's blueprint.
